Laying of Hands Healing with Alison Leitheiser

Laying of Hands Healing with Alison Leitheiser Episode 112

Alison Leitheiser is an amazing person who helps others live their lives to the max. You may remember her from the Quadriplegic to Ninja Warrior episode of this podcast when I interviewed her the first time. She has overcome so much in her journey and is now able to share it with others! Alison created a program called Inner Restoration which takes you to the next level of health. It was designed to help people get out of Fight, Flight, or Freeze mode in their brain so that they can get into a place of Rest and their bodies can really absorb the nutrients that it needs so that it can heal. Along with that it helps with Organ Relief, which is what we are talking about today.

We do a lot of things for our bodies, but we tend to pay most attention to our muscles. Maybe you work out or focus on your nutrition or meditate, etc. Alison has another way to offer support to your body. It’s called Neural Facial Processing but I like to call it, Laying of Hands. You can do it at home, all you need is twenty minutes and two hands. She does this every day; it is a very nice way to help connect to your organs. Each organ has an emotional connotation, for example the liver is frustration and anger. While we have many organs there are two that nobody talks about, the ureters, which connect the kidney to the bladder. They remove the things that we don’t want in our body. To connect with them put one hand on your liver (right below your rib cage)and the other hand on your ureters (the small of your back). You can do other things at the same time, you can do it on the bus, while talking to someone on the phone, while watching your favorite tv show. It doesn’t matter. Just put your hands over the two organs and sit for twenty minutes. When you do this, you invite your liver to drain out the negative energy and emotions. Every organ has its job that it is very good at, but when your organs aren’t working together things start to go wrong. Think of an orchestra, each instrument has to be in tune with the other instruments otherwise the music isn’t going to sound right. You may feel some buzzing, heat, lightness, or nothing at all. It depends on the person, and if you feel nothing it doesn’t mean that it isn’t working or that you’re doing something wrong. I know it might seem “woo woo” and I used to think it was. But after learning more about how we vibrate and our energy, this makes more and more sense. And when you do it, and put some faith that it can work, you will notice a difference.

There are so many good benefits that come with different organs. You don’t always need to connect the liver to the ureters, connecting different organs will help with different things. Ureters help with first aid, if you are feeling pain in a part of your body put one hand there and the other with your ureters. There’s a spot in between your eyebrows that gets your frontal lobe which determines how you react and what you perceive around you. For example, it scans around you to see if there’s any danger, such as a tiger or a speeding car, and how you react to that danger. Sometimes when people begin connecting this spot with the ureters the brain can “freak out” you may feel some increased pressure, but the more you do it the easier it gets. It can be very uncomfortable, but it’s very helpful in the long run. It will help make you calmer and you’ll be able to determine what to react to instead of jumping at every little thing.

Alison has many stories of clients that say this has helped tremendously. One woman had a history of severe depression and was having problems with her lungs. Emotionally the lungs deal with grief and life and death. Alison would have this woman connect her lungs with many different organs. Eventually the woman emailed Alison saying that she couldn’t even get out of bed since she was too sad. Alison told her to continue with the connections and the next time the woman wrote back she said that she was doing great and no longer felt like she was in the depths of grief. She was engaging with the world in a way that she never had before, she felt better than she had felt in years.

You can Google search Neural Facial Processing and you will be able to find out more about the subject and different connections you can make.
